frequently asked questions

• What drawing software and brushes do you use?

I use Procreate on iPad or a combination of Paint Tool SAI and Photoshop on PC. On Procreate, my primary brushes are by Jingsketch, with "Clean Sketch" used for lineart and "Master Smudge" used for the smudge tool.

• How long have you been drawing?

I've been drawing for fun for over 12 years, and have been drawing professionally for over 8.

• Are you accepting commissions?

Yes, I am almost always accepting commissions! You can find my prices and order form over on my portfolio. There may be a waitlist, but you'll be informed of that via email before the commission's confirmation.

• Are you accepting video requests?

I am! If there's a topic that you'd like me to cover, please reach out via DM or email. I may choose not to make a video about it if I do not feel qualified or comfortable, but I'll always consider it.

• Will you accept unpaid work?

Under no circumstances will I ever accept work without financial compensation. Whether it's an art request or a tiny voice acting role in a small project, I am not willing to accept any position that is either unpaid or for exposure.

• Could you give me feedback on my art?

Unfortunately, while I wish I did have the time to provide feedback and critique to every artist who reaches out to request it, I just don't. I work very long hours on my channel and my art, and do not have any free time to spare for these requests. I would recommend Jingsketch's Art Clinic if you're looking for detailed art feedback on a regular basis!

• Can I draw fanart of your sona/Duchess Celestia?

Of course! I'd be honoured! I love fanart, and I actually keep it all printed out on a corkboard in my office. I'll also feature it in my videos' fanart gallery section if you mention me directly and let me know that you consent to my sharing your art!

• Do you read comments and DMs?

I do! I no longer regularly respond due to an increasing amount of anxiety regarding the more hostile communications I receive (and a lack of time), but I do always read them. My DMs are frequently automatically screened and can be missed, but I will respond to any that I feel comfortable with. If you urgently need to contact me, however, I would recommend reaching out via email, as my responses there are more reliable by far.

• What music do you use in your videos?

Fxllxng Music created my primary background music as well as my outro specifically for my channel! Please check him out, as he not only makes great music in general, but is also accepting commissions. The other music I use is from Chillhop Music.
